Only issue I have is that my dogs like to look out the window. Can't doo that from the floor. So they sit on the couch. Unless the couch is occupied, they don't use the beds as often, but they do use it. cleaning is so so because if the accident is liquid it will get into the foam under. chewing? that really depends on your dog. my previous dog would have had this item in shreds pretty quick. Current dogs are not as destructive.
