My fiancee was happy with all of the headlight modifications I've made, but her 9005 reflector halogen bulbs were very weak and almost dangerous in our area where there are no street lights on country roads. I have had Hikari brands before and they have always been reliable. I didn't know Cree had 50.2 compared to the old XHP50 so I bought it and wasn't at all surprised by the sheer amount of light coming out of this thing. Installation was easy; Just replace, making sure the two LED chips were aligned at 9 and 3 o'clock as per the manual. It also matches their secondary HID which seems to work really well with the stock halogen projectors with those Toyota headlights. I've upgraded but it's pretty close in terms of sharp shutdown. Now that the headlights match, she's very happy. It also uses 8000 lumen PSX26W LED bulbs for the fog lights, which are almost blinding. So if you wanted to do something similar at least on Highlander, be sure to check it out! Amazing LED and very cool with built in fan.
