Review on Thule Aspect DSLR Backpack Black by Tracy Knight

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Camera 50/50 / EDC: Luggage and Travel Gear

Write this review after 2 months of use. First, it's one of the few backpacks that combines quick camera access with the ability to carry personal items. Pros: 1. The camera compartment is spacious. With origami style dividers, easily store more than 5 main lenses.2. Comfortable padding on the shoulder straps and back part, chest straps and hip straps (removable)3. Aesthetically it just looks great and sporty so doesn't really stand out like a camera bag4. Strong durable material, can stand upright alone.5. Excellent value for money compared to other brands like Peak Design which is double the price. Cons: Very happy with this backpack to be honest. However, there are a few areas I would like to improve: The main divider between the lid and the camera compartment cannot be completely removed, making it less viable as an EDC-only backpack - for amateur photographers like me, while I like the all-purpose backpack. As I have quick access to my cameras I would have liked a little more storage space for personal items, especially as a father with a 6 year old son. - Zippers could be better, not sure if this is YKK as Thule didn't specify. Overall, I'd recommend buying it if you're looking for a quick-access photo backpack that can hold a lot of gear, but still has some storage for personal items (that's exactly a 50/50).
