I first bought two TL1 speakers to replace my existing two TL1 speakers which vibrated a few times from the end tables and no longer sounded good if at all. Ouch! I later noticed that the third TL1 speaker failed after I connected two new ones. When I was in the process of ordering a third TL1 speaker I discovered the TL2 speakers and decided to try them out and then bought another to replace my fourth TL1 speaker. You can see the difference in the output. I'm not a music lover but they offer better sound than my new TL1.
