Ideal for protecting very expensive wooden floors from chairs and other furniture. I used sticky felt pads. Their disadvantage is that they do not stick, and a stick falls on the floor, which is difficult to remove. On the plus side, you can move a chair or furniture without fear of scratching the floor. The silicone feet are great for protection but not for slipping. This is normal, because the main need is protection. I can lift a chair to move it. I don't usually like different sized packaging, like silicone lids for glassware. In this case it would be nice because I have such a variety of sizes. If it was tight, I would tie them to the chair leg as tightly as I could. My great grandfather (late 1800's) made 2 of my chairs for church services. I found that all four legs are different sizes. One chair had 3 legs and the other had no legs so they were all tied together. It's like little flies at the foot of my chairs. All in all my win, thanks RM.
