Works great, when I bought the bike I only got one key. I have hidden my key in a safe place and am using this blank key (after it has been cut) as my master key. As a tip, get a copy from a locksmith, not a hardware store, and take the bike there to have the key checked if any adjustments/tweaks are needed. I made mine at a hardware store and when I first rotated it it didn't rotate, I had to play with it and rotate it a bit before it lined up properly with the toggle switches on my ignition/gas cap/snout.
