Exactly what I was looking for

My buttons on my GMC Acadia were badly worn and I was looking for something to fix them. These stickers were the perfect low cost quick fix I was hoping to find. Using my fingernail, I scraped off what was left of the cover that the concentrated light passes through (the center of each of the large knobs), but left the rest just in case. The sticker was slightly smaller than the button itself. I figured since there are 4 packs it's easy enough to take them off, scrape off the remnants and put a new one in when it looks awful. However, the original paint is so thin that it does not leave any visible lines through the decal. I then cleaned the buttons with a cotton swab sprayed with a little hand sanitizer. I used a piece of standard clear tape to hold the stickers in place while I peeled them from the contact paper. This allowed me to hold the tape in place and adjust the decal as needed to keep fingerprints and oil off the decal itself. It was very easy for me to apply the decal the way I wanted and then I just reused the same piece of clear tape for all the decals I applied. Dead easy. The power button had an exposed portion on the side that came loose and the sticker does not wrap around the side of the button. I darkened the exposed areas with a highlighter. Problem solved. The cutout on the backlight sticker is slightly larger than the backlight button. So if you look closely, there's a little green button peeking through. It doesn't bother me at all as it's hardly noticeable. Haven't ridden at night yet but have shone a flashlight behind the decals and they seemed to glow so I expect them to glow at night so you can see images clearly in the dark. *update* added a photo to show what the dashboard looks like at night. Light works wonderfully! Time will tell how the stickers hold up over time. But the price is just over a dollar a sheet and it's worth it. Easy to install, it took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Most importantly, my dashboard looks a lot better and I actually know what the buttons are for.
