I was looking for some outdoor lights for the ceiling of my house that I could easily change color for different holidays and also have them in white for non-holidays to illuminate the outside of the house for securitiy purposes. They do a very good job of using the remote to adjust the color as needed. My light is set to burn white, but when I needed specific colors, only a few would automatically turn on the correct color. So I had to go outside with the remote and change the whites to the right colors. searched. They turn on and off automatically in white, but not all colors without my adjustment. This saves me buying colorful lamps and climbing stairs to change for every party and in between. A lightbulb does the job. I bought 6 and they really brighten up the house for the downlighting! I used purple, green, and gold for Mardi Gras to be the "home wagon" in New Orleans, LA!
