I have a 3 gallon (from Walmart) and a 6 gallon version. This 6 gallon is a step up in so many ways.- As well as providing more space for your fish, it doesn't take up much space on your table as it's basically growing in height.- The lid is hinged so you can easily lift it. Instead of having to take it off. - The LEDs have a neat 8 hour timer that turns them on at the same time every day and stays on for 8 hours. - USB LEDs come with a wall adapter. Other thoughts: - Buy a siphon with a pump because it doesn't fit the side - The 6 gallon version has a louder filter. This irritated both me and the fish. I filled it to the max mark to minimize this issue. It's a lot cheaper at the gum store, so it's best to buy it there.
