No need. in Computers & Accessories

Yes, it's a bit pricey and the touchpad is tiny. But it works very well. Printing is easy and very convenient. The keys click and click like you'd expect from a regular keyboard, they just don't move as much. Spacing is good, I don't hit the wrong keys anymore than when using a regular keyboard. I like the material that covers it, I'm guessing it's some kind of suede microfiber. Feels very smooth and has the added benefit of not slipping the surface in the car if I place the seat cover face down. While some people will tell you that the need for a surface keyboard is absolute, I wouldn't agree. If you don't intend to use the Surface a lot for writing reports, essays, etc., you can do without it. I rarely use it unless I'm at my desk. Typing emails with the onscreen keyboard is enough, it's much easier than on the iPad, filling out web forms, typing in URLs, etc., the onscreen keyboard is fine. If I didn't like the convenience of having it when I need it I probably would have already returned it and just plugged a wireless keyboard and mouse into my Surface whenever I was at my desk, it's a much more affordable option. and it's probably better if you plan to use it as your main computer. worth $130? Probably not, but when I'm in tablet mode and tired of clinging to a surface, I just open the keyboard and get to work. It's the perfect Surface companion and when I use it I don't think about the price.
