This is our second set for our daughter and probably the fifth in general. I gave them to my little friends. It looks so realistic and beautiful. My daughter loves to pretend and she also likes that it's not real. I don't have any confusion either. When she was younger she didn't know it wasn't real. It was perfect. The bag is cute, you can take it with you and show it to your friends. I recommend this for your child or as a gift. By the way, I bought the first one for my son when he was 2 years old because he liked my makeup bag, all kinds of little powders and brushes and always wanted to try them. So I bought this and he could pretend to color me and my older daughters. Then he got too old for it and my youngest loved it!
