This is my first mirrorless camera; I bought this 3 years ago when I was looking for a travel companion that would give me the same sensor size as my DSLR but without the bulk. I certainly enjoyed using this camera which is very full featured and well built. As someone who started photography in the sixties, I recognize and appreciate the retro style. easy to find and use the controls I need. There's a growing collection of fast lenses that I like too. However, I have one concern about the camera, and a big one: it won't work in the cold. I love going to the snow in East Washington in December. I would be ready with a camera with a fully charged battery and a spare battery in an inside pocket where it stays warm. I worked at 20-12ยฐF and stayed away from the chamber for 30 minutes. I would replace the battery and get another 20 minutes. After that there is usually no reaction, not even from a warm battery. I'm assuming it's a battery issue (batteries don't work well in extreme cold), not the camera. In any case, such performance is unacceptable in winter. I will continue to use the camera on my trips to warm places, but I will have to leave it at home for the winter.
