Perfect for what is

Perfect for what is. I have a large 264AB that I use for large telephoto, astro, and other landscape photography, but most of the time when I'm in town, camping in the woods, or camping, the 5.5 pound weight means I get it leave at home. . I took a few long exposure shots while leaning the camera on tree trunks or a bag, but that severely limited the options. Now I can toss this tripod, which weighs just over a pound, in my bag and hardly notice it's there. I can take photos at camp, do long exposures of waterfalls and skies, and even astrophotography at night. Is that my main tripod? No, of course not, but for $39.99 this is exactly what I was looking for. I originally bought the VEO 235AB, a great tripod for day trips, but I sent it back. I often climb and walk 65-80 miles in just a few days in the mountains and every gram counts. Highly recommended as a camping tripod or lightweight for hiking.
