Review on πŸ”§ PFP 3 Park Tool Pump Rebuild Kit by Evan Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reconditioned Old PFP-3 Home Mechanic Bike Pump (circa 2003)

After 18 years of using my Park Tool PFP-3 Home Mechanic Bike Pump (purchased in 2003) the pump head has finally worn out (the pin when holding the lever on the The head no longer held the pump due to the wear of the plastic and kept falling out when inflating the tire). I was delighted to find a conversion kit option on Park Tool's website, even though this bike pump model was discontinued a few years ago - a sign of a quality company with quality products that last. This conversion kit has breathed new life into my PFP-3 pump, performs as well if not better than the original parts (pump head design slightly improved for Presta and Shrader valves). This bike pump has more than paid for itself and I hope it lasts me another 18 (or more) years! Thanks, ParkTool!
