Really pure meat and veggies in a hearty sauce. It really shouldn't be labeled dog food as it's better than most canned or frozen human foods. My dog is crazy about these things. For him it's just heavenly. However, the portion sizes are very small and obviously intended for smaller dogs between 10 and 30 pounds. My dog is 100 pounds so this is eaten, licked and licked up in less than a minute and not really satisfying on a dog's empty stomach. If you have a dog that weighs 50 pounds or more, you will likely want to feed your dog two or more servings, possibly with dry food, after which the cost of that dog food can get expensive.
