They are not for those with balance problems. If your ankles tend to twist, they are very unstable when walking. They cushion your steps, but the trade-off between softness and insecurity isn't worth the drop. The sole width of these slippers is significantly wider on the outside and narrower on the inside. The sides of the bodice are pressed to the legs. The curve in front pushes the thumb to the other fingers. I won't buy them again.
