Great player for beginners just starting to digitize records. The turntable is well built and appears to be an excellent quality product. caprica, buy and compare several other turntables in this price range, it seems like this swivel cable should cost at least $100 more than it is. I would give it 5 stars but the documentation is very weak. Especially for a beginner. Better documentation is needed, especially on balancing the arm and getting the anti-skate setting right. Apparently, in order for the player to automatically stop at the end of a recording, the anti-skating setting needs to be turned off completely. The description also talks about the built-in Riaa filter, but the documentation doesn't mention anything. In support, they're basically nothing I could see. There is no website to report it and no phone number to contact them. Overall, the player himself gets a five-star rating. If you buy it you will not be disappointed.
