Very satisfied. Looks solid, fits very well in the space I had and the cutting board/knife was one of the main reasons I ordered this model. I accidentally ordered a similar model with a drawer and tongs first, but returned it immediately. This model has a thin plastic window. This model has thicker plastic which looks nice and I'm not worried about accidentally tearing it. This model also has solid wood details, including the back. Another, more expensive model had a cardboard base. I definitely recommend this model over the drawer/pliers version. Right after opening the package, there was a faint smell of wood glue (which weathered quickly). Love the smell but let the pieces air out for 24 hours before assembling so they don't transfer to the bread anyway! My only complaint is that the pre-drilled holes in the top weren't very centered. 3 of these broke during assembly, although I was very careful. They are separated on the outside of the bread bin so I assume this doesn't affect functionality and you won't notice unless you're looking. Still annoying and the reason for the 1 star downgrade. I knew it was just going to happen from the loud crackle, but I had to put in all the screws, so I didn't have much of a choice.
