CGM Coating Patches Protect and Protect Libre Sensors. Because the sensors cost over $60 each (every 14 days) and can't be reapplied once they're knocked out, it's worth buying the reliable $0.60 cover. One that can withstand exercise, sweat, and showering is a valuable addition to your diabetes care regimen. This CGM patch is thinner than bandages and adheres well to clean skin. Mine lasted 14 days (equivalent to a Libre sensor). While the edges are raised slightly (after a shower), this is much less than a thicker type of bandage and requires very little trimming. The other bandage pulls away from the skin, and the raw edge is still tacky enough to grab a shirt sleeve or sheet and continue stretching. Update: Above is an image of a Flexd sensor cover for Libre. 14 days, 7 showers and several days of sweaty gardening. None of this, including some of my hair, caused the cover to come off a bit. Pretty impressive for 60 cents. I recommend.
