The R rating can be a bit confusing. The new curve is much larger. Considering I had 2 of these I didn't want a big curve and it wasn't 100% sold on the curve. After several weeks of use I have to say that in most cases it is difficult to even notice the flex. It seems natural, and in fact, aiming for a bigger curve wouldn't be such a bad thing. The first few days are enough to get used to this setup.
