Gutter in the wall

I am building an insulated dog house for two dogs with air conditioning and heating. This is the door I chose because the largest size is big enough to crawl through to free or live in terrible family circumstances for a few days. Everything about this product is good except for two things: 1. The magnets are weak as mentioned by other reviewers. It doesn't really matter to me as the position of the door is away from the general wind.2. They didn't take into account where the rainwater goes after it runs down the flap. This is a major omission as it will cause water damage to walls and doors. Water flows down the wing and then enters the space between the wings. From there he can only go into the space between inside and outside. I've tried caulking it with Lexel silicone caulk, but I still don't have room to drill drain holes. Mold and mildew won't keep me waiting in my new building unless I find another solution. While I think I might have to remove the door entirely and get a different one, I hope not.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I say nothing
