I was looking for something great for EVERYTHING in my life - I travel a lot and live in Asia. So I needed something convertible in the sense that I could wear it on the Tokyo subway or while shopping in Daiso without worrying about tipping over when I roll over or bumping into people. At the same time, it is designed to store/carry my belongings, be comfortable, and also expand to carry clothes etc. on weekend trips, or to store souvenirs or treats taken on vacation trips. Cons: The ability to expand the bag yourself with clips isn't ideal here, as you can't adjust the compression straps on one side, making the bag look a little lopsided when fully tightened. Also, the straps should go all the way through the bag so you can squeeze the front compartments and not just the edges like you used to. I think there is a small design flaw here. Also, the compartments on the front of the bag are very limited. When you have all the junk you travel with (like me) like pens, flashlights, screwdrivers etc you don't have much space to store them with two large pockets and two pen pockets. Unused floor space where more pouches/pockets could be placed. I might try to have someone modify this bag to fit extra storage inside. Just because I live in populous Asia I would have preferred a smaller bag in height - another 2 inches shorter would really help - then this bag would be PERFECT for a day bag, could be used at the gym but still versatile enough for weekend rides with the extension function. -- or durability in a tropical environment. Overall a great idea, just not 100% right for me.
