Review on ER20XS Motorsport High-Definition Earplugs by Etymotic Research - Under Helmet Noise Reduction, Standard Clear Stem with Frost Tip by Hector Mak

I already have a pair of Etymotic ETY earbuds and don't use them much yet. They are comfortable for long periods of time and are great for loud events/concerts when I need them. I travel with them, always in my backpack. I recently became a motorcyclist and bought a used Honda CB300F. While it's by no means a big bike, Yahoo, who owned it before me, removed the stock exhaust and put in what is essentially a decorative tailpipe tip. and the wheel is LOUD. For example VERY LOUD. It's great that the riders around me know I'm close, but the sound of the loud engine echoes in my helmet like I've never heard before. rzunimag. I struggled with the standard foam ear tips to keep the ride comfortable and my ears started hurting after about 15 minutes, so I went back to Revain to look for something. Wow, Etymotic made a motorsport kit. and gosh, they work GREAT! Everything outside of my helmet is still audible and I can still hear cars nearby and instead of my exhaust going up to 11 it's now around 3 and still sounds great! I can still talk to someone inside them. I use the standard 3 flange ear tips which fit me perfectly. In hindsight, I could have ordered the ER20XS version (the same single-size earbud model that I use). The little "tabs" that make it easy to remove the earcups are great, but sometimes they get stuck when I put on or take off my helmet, misalign the earbud, or pull something out. So I removed them and fastened the neck cord and I found functional bliss. Don't even notice them in use, no pressure from the helmet pushing them in. Just fantastic! Now the included case hangs on my motorcycle keys and is always ready to go when I am! ABSOLUTELY recommend. You would be a fool not to wear hearing protection on your bike and this product is functionally accessible and works incredibly well. For your health!
