I like that they are collapsible. The covers are also removable so they can be washed. The zip storage is excellent. You may not have separators. Or divide the length of the box in half, and then halve each of those areas in half again. Partitions can be easily added or removed using Velcro on the walls and the partitions themselves. As for gap filling, it's good. We have an '08 Ford Edge. I'm 6ft 3" and had to move the seat forward about 3/8" to 1/2". Still enough room to drive. If I really wanted to move my seat all the way back I could as the boxes are pretty solid but the way they are put together with or without baffles they flex a bit. They could have been tighter and tighter but then I had to bring them back because I couldn't. Don't put my place where it is now if they didn't have the gift. In photo number 2 you can see a little what they give. with you that you may need access to but don't want to stop to get there. Today we are doing our first ride with them so I will update the durability information in a few months.
