Not what is shown in the picture.

I bought a size 8 for my petite 7 year old. It's short and hits the calves, so not the length of a maxi dress, as you can unfortunately see in the picture. The material also has an oddly shiny look, which I was expecting as well. My daughter still loves it so much so I think that's important.
