I have been using this collar for several years, the first 5 years had no problems. Problems may appear after 5 years with a device, but this is completely normal. My advice as a dog trainer is to never use an e-collar unless you are a professional trainer and know what you are doing! Here are reports of the trainer's luck or the collar that gave the dog a wound on the neck. If used properly (applies to any training tool) it won't harm your dog, but you must know how to use it, so seek professional trainer help!
