I have been using the previous line of Aveeno Active Naturals Nourishing + Hydrating for about five years and I think it has worked well. I have winter eczema. I use Aveeno oat based bath soap and the previous product seemed to help with my itchy scalp. I was surprised to see the end of the product line. So I searched for a substitute and the Aveeno Scalp Soothing Oat Milk Blend Shampoo for daily hydration and light nutrition (maybe they could shorten the name to =ASSOMBSFDM&LN?) popped up, so I use it. It's not the same shampoo, but I haven't noticed any of the side effects mentioned in the reviews here. The strong smell (I would say coconut) goes away as my hair dries and is quite pleasant. ASSOMBSFDM&LN doesn't "moisten" any better than its predecessor, but what does "moisten" actually mean? I have dry hair before and after shampooing. It works for me, and by the way, the price has gone down.
