The displayed AM numbers may not match the tuned frequency.
To test this I searched for the right AM station but got too much interference (or so I thought). Turns out I wasn't tuning to the correct frequency as the AM frequency numbers don't match the actual tuning frequency. I don't know what program I was looking for - just the channel number. See image. The radio is set for 1:10 p.m., although it doesn't appear to be after 12:00 p.m. I bought it to listen to baseball games on an AM station and it's fine for that. Great price especially as it came with headphones (didn't read the description carefully so the headphones were a surprise.)
