Review on Tent camping four-seater Canadian Camper GRAND CANYON 4, forest by Bogusia Grabowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

I bought for comfortable overnight stays on infrequent rafting kayaks and car trips to nature. I chose a tent exclusively with exits from opposite sides for cross-ventilation, with quick and easy assembly and installation, incl. in the rain, with arches on the outer awning and the ability to put up a tent without storm wires. The white color of the fabric of the sleeping bag is easier to catch mosquitoes. Well, I wanted to try a large high tent with a large vestibule, because. I didn’t want to crawl in / crawl out of the tent and get wet in the morning from condensation when you open the zipper. It was also important that the bag was of an elongated shape for placement in a kayak under the side. Tried it on a 4 day hike. Withstood a 2 hour downpour. The three of us do not sleep closely, there is a lot of air. Condensation on the outer tent in the morning is present from the top to the middle with all entrances closed. Assembling a tent is not difficult. On a not very flat ground, I got up normally. Two arcs are marked in yellow and two in blue. Accordingly, on the tent in the pockets for the arches there are also yellow and blue stripes, the attentive one will not be mistaken. I collected 4 arcs, threaded them into the pockets of the desired color and raised the tent. You can cope with an external awning in 15-20 minutes, even alone, but of course it is more convenient for two. There is one red loop on the sleeping bag, it needs to be hooked onto a red button, and the pockets are sewn on the outside. They should be inside the vestibule. If you do not miss these two nuances, everything easily falls into place. There is no floor in the vestibule, I bought a construction tent made of tarpaulin with a density of 120g / m2 3x5 meters for the whole tent at once, I didn’t cut it to size, I just turned it up, I didn’t fix it with pegs. So even better, because. the bottom of the sleeping bag is additionally protected, and can be placed on wet grass. The awning fits into a regular bag along with a tent normally. Moisture dries longer than small tents. The skirt is also a good thing, insects do not crawl under it well. It assembles and folds quickly, if twisted tightly, it goes back into the bag well. I did not notice the deformation of the arcs, the arcs retained a straight shape

Pros
  • the possibility of cross-ventilation, ventilation in the rain through the top valves, stable with a self-supporting structure, can be installed without storm braces, two pockets in the vestibule outside the sleeping compartment, in the sleeping compartment there are four pockets on each side, it is convenient to open the vestibule from the inside and not get wet from condensate, mosquito nets and a skirt. The skirt, in addition to drainage, does not let insects under the awning, which I liked very much. Two stiffening straps in the middle of the tent. Good value for money, flashlight loop inside the sleeping bag, entrance to the vestibule from three sides with mosquito nets.
Cons
  • Nothing in particular to complain about. More than suitable for my purposes. I would add a mosquito net to the awning at the entrance opposite from the vestibule, it is not there, but the insects did not crawl under the awning even with the entrance open. I would also add stiffening belts around the perimeter of the vestibule of the tent between the ends of the racks. If necessary, the belts can be sewn on yourself. But, on the other hand, you don’t stumble over them at the entrance . There is no shelf in the sleeping bag, but you can also sew on someone who needs it .
