Review on πŸ“€ Enhance Your Storage with Verbatim DVD R 4 7GB Recordable Media+ by Chef Deane

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I have been relying on these discs for years but the quality has been extremely poor lately

I have been buying these discs for many years as my brother always told me they are the best quality for the price. However, I've been getting a lot of bad games lately. I can only record a few minutes or a maximum of 30 minutes. Or just an hour. Sometimes they aren't bad until you reach the end of the pack. In other cases, like recently, it's each one, one at a time, from the beginning of the pack. I see some of them are bad before I use them. You can see that the plate layers are not properly formed. They usually work very well, but if Revain gets bad batches, forget to use them. It seems to have happened several times a year for the past 3 years. I had to send them back. I have just returned 3 packs at once but thankfully my latest pack seems to be much better and more of the quality you would normally expect from them. *Just wanted to update this review to say that I've since bought two more used DVD recorders that burn both DVD-R and DVD+R so I no longer have to mess with those DVD-R discs. My latest DVD recorder could only record to DVD-R, so I struggled to buy them for a number of years. It's a lot less annoying to use DVD+R discs when you can use this format. They come in purple packaging and function as the Verbatim brand is known to do.
