I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. I have a low modern bed. And for the past 5 years I've struggled to get out of bed. After actually considering buying another bed. Miraculously💡 an idea came to my mind and I started looking for risers. I chose them because they can be wide enough for the oval "racetrack" legs of my bed. The "openness" on one side of these risers allows them to slide easily under the legs, and their width is barely wide enough to keep the legs from sagging. If it weren't open on one side of those risers, the legs would be too wide for those risers. They are perfect and I figured I'd have to buy 2 sets of 6 to double the stack because I figured 3 inches bigger wouldn't work. But I tried it and now I can get out of bed with almost no problems. I could buy 6 more pieces to increase it another 3 inches but the $40 price for them is a little high. But it's worth it.
