I gave them 4 stars because they are very long as others have said. I'm glad I read all the reviews because I usually wear a medium petite but chose the small size. In general, everything is fine, except for the length. They are 3 inches longer. I bought them thinking I could just cut and hem them. However, they have an overlock hem so they are too difficult to hem and don't look good when I cut them off. I hem them like you would hem jeans without losing the original seams at the hem since they have a folded edge. The pants are smooth on the outside and flannel/microfleece on the inside. Very comfortable and warm. I like that they have pockets and are wide. I've worn them to physical therapy and they're great for lounging around the house. I would rate them 5 stars if they were short or petite. Another note: These states don't use fabric softener in their laundry. They wash well and don't shrink in the dryer. I gave 4 stars because I was flattering due to the way I had to hem. If you have an overlock and can sew, they could be hemmed nicer. Ideal to wear around the house.
