The best way to clean is probably with a disinfectant wipe because I tried to wash it in the sink, I quickly dunked it in soapy water and rinsed it off but the water got stuck there and stuff I think Mold can grow. It is strictly forbidden to wash in the sink, even if you quickly dip it there, otherwise the water will get stuck in the rattle. The toy is fun and affordable, but I wish I could wash it in the sink instead of using a tissue. I don't like using harsh chemicals on my daughter's toys. I prefer to wash them in the sink with dish soap, but many of them have so many moving parts that they are very difficult to clean.
