Review on Efficient Syba SD-ADA40001 Compact Flash to SATA II Adapter Card with PCI Mounting Bracket - Black by James Wickware

This is a pretty good product that worked well enough for an old laptop I picked up and was exactly what I was looking for. There weren't any real problems except for one. While the screw holes lined up correctly with the drive bay bracket, they were too far forward, resulting in the adapter housing being too far back for the IDE pins to make the connection. My solution was to not use screws and use tape to attach the case to the bracket. Otherwise it works fine. Couldn't use a slave card but it's a great option. Also, Syba seems to be the only company that makes this. Glory to them!
