Wanted to mount my phone on a tripod for web conferencing but many tripod mounts are sold out or months late. It was one of the cheapest options and. You get what you pay for. This is a relatively cheap spring-loaded plastic mount. Some of the other phone mounts seem to have a screw mount. Spring seems strong enough, but time will tell. I would have preferred an aluminum bracket or something better, but of course that would be 2 or 3 times the price. So. would I recommend it? May be. Depends on medium and long term reliability.
