Great for medium sized dogs but my large bullmastiff plays about 20 minutes a day every 2 weeks. The much thicker one lasted longer but is uncomfortable for my hands and dog's mouth, so this size is more suitable for training or play. It would be nice if the middle was a more durable rubber-plastic core with soft thick foam, maybe a size in between this and the outrageously thick version. I use it because my Great Dane will chase it but won't fetch balls or play frisbees like our other two dogs. It really helps him to exercise daily without being able to go for long walks.
