Great looking plastic shoe horn. I don't like the feel of metal on me. I wear very little jewelry for this reason, and opted for the smooth flexibility of a plastic model for these. I purchased a different brand for myself ( Extra Long 24" Shoe Horn - Set of 2 ) a year or so back, and got this one as a gift for my dad who's getting up there in years. The length means you don't have to bend over to put your slip on's over your feet, which is brilliant. The other ones work fine, however I opted for a more finished look, as my dad is a classy dude and this was a gift.This particular lengthy shoe horn seems very sturdy. There's flex in the plastic, but not an excessive amount as to make use difficult. The color is attractive, and the handle is comfortable when using. Needless to say I'm a little jealous of my dad's new shoe horn. The only caveat is that there is no hole to hang the device from, so you have to use the crook, which limits your hanging options a bit. Other than that, this is a fine, functional shoe horn that has a very nice look to it. 10/10, would gift this again.
