Review on Reliable Fosmon Electrical Appliances for a Resistant Household by Brent Mosley

This remote switch works well and is easy to install but as far as the 80 foot range goes it is very disappointing. I use this product to turn off my garage door opener when we're out overnight (sorry but I'm paranoid in the chaotic times we live in). When we leave or get home I turn off the power to the garage door opener, but at 80 feet I seem to have to refresh myself at the garage door which is probably about 20 feet from the switch before it works while my garage door openers are off 100 foot work properly. We have steel panels, so this may affect the efficiency of this power switch. It would be nice if the manufacturer of this switch could duplicate the effectiveness of my garage door remote.
