I've read reviews and now I find I can read between the lines. wanted to light up a specific area in my house (basically "the passageway"). The attached photo shows a doorway that used to be an exterior wall so no need for a three position light switch but is now connected to another room. With this light, I avoided installing a 3-way light. The more critical reviews made me hesitate but I was willing to take a chance on a product in this price range and if those reviews were wrong I had what I was looking for. . ESSENTIALLY: It couldn't be happier. My problem was solved, easy to install (I knew it would be), turns on and off as advertised and holds a higher charge than I ever expected. The recent power outage has made this product very handy for finding oil lamps. Totally excited. I'll probably buy more, if only because I'm going to tape them to the fridge in anticipation of another power outage.
