Review on Genuine OEM Original Dell 65W Replacement AC Adapter for Dell Inspiron 5551/5555/5558/5755/5758/7348/7558 by Lawrence Allison

I received this power supply yesterday, plugged it in straight away and so far my Dell Inspiron 5558 is charging just fine. Prior to this purchase I tried to use the (original equipment) AC adapter from my other Dell Inspiron 5566 but it would not charge at all. Conclusion: Different models of the Dell Inspiron 5000 series use different adapters, my 5558 requires 65W and my 5566 only 45W. You also need to check the size of the power connector, both the 5558 and 5566 are 4.5mm but some do Adapters have 7.4mm. The only reason for 4 stars is the dubious "Genuine Dell OEM" product.
