Update: After using this bag for some time there was an annoying problem with the magnetic closure. The clasp opens further when the inside snaps shut. Even if the pouch is only partially filled, it will still open, leaving you stuck with a valve that just hangs around because it won't stay closed. In addition, the lack of special places for pens / pencils is inconvenient. For the most part, it looks like a decent laptop backpack. My 13 inch ASUS laptop easily fits in the inner pocket. It closes with an elastic velcro and then with a zipper. I don't worry about my laptop accidentally falling out of this bag. This bag offers enough space for a couple of laptops/books. Buckle with clasp. This bag looks good too. The back straps are padded but I did notice some chafing in the neck/shoulder area. Overall this backpack is ok. I can put my laptop and other things in this bag.
