I received this detergent 4 months ago but hardly used it after receiving it. I couldn't tell if the clothes were cleaner than my other cleaner, just wasn't impressed. But I am very happy to know that it works great when used as a spot treatment and wash boost. I even use it for hand washing. I really like the smell, not too strong but invitingly sweet and the best secret I've found about this detergent is that it's a great shoe cleaner, especially a shoe insert cleaner. As a result, our running, cycling and hiking shoes smell great and look almost like new. I was impressed! Nothing I've tried before - baking soda, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide work better than that!
