Second update: So I was okay with the discoloration because it just faded to rose gold and turned gray again. It's good, but with gems it's not just discolored. It's a completely different material that turns my nipple green and the thing itself a hot rusty pink. If you don't want to ruin your piercing like I did after using it, please purchase something else. Update: doesn't even last a month without discoloration 😔 really disappointed. I see a lot of comments saying they are bigger. So the rod length is 16mm and the caliber is 14g. So they are the advertised gauge. Now to the real problem. All pairs fit perfectly (I have a bigger nipple), the only problem is with the heart. The width of the heart is ok and also perfect for a large nipple. The thing is they are made in such a way that the pole is too high so when the heart is put on it can't be a "shield" because the pole doesn't allow it. So it's not "too small for my nipple problem" but a manufacturer issue where it just doesn't fit properly unless you have really tiny nipples. Everything else is perfect and really solid.
