I needed an exhaust fan for my barn and wanted something durable that could handle the offline heat. This fan is more like a small car radiator fan or something. It is well balanced and fits perfectly under the vented skylight in my utility room (shed). It seems to move a decent amount of air for its size and I also installed the thermostat that comes with the fan as shown in the photo. The motor is quiet and the fan is not, but noise isn't a problem as I don't live in a barn. The thermostat is permanently set at 85 degrees, but I can't test if it turns off. Activate the function. This fan does not have an on/off switch. I decided to add a controller, battery and switch for more stable power supply and turning on the headlights. I will amend this review if there are any issues later, but so far I am very happy with this fan.
