So glad I bought it, now I can't live without it. I had a hard time getting the urine smell out of my pre-pottery toddler's clothes no matter how many times I washed them. Of course, no heavy odors could fool my sense of smell during pregnancy. I stumbled upon Nellie's washing soda and after reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try. It worked wonders, the urine smell was gone without masking odors! I also finally won the fight against sportswear fragrances. I also started using wool drying balls and added a few drops of lavender essential oil. And it's laundry heaven! For best results, I recommend running multiple self-cleaning cycles in your washing machine. When I first washed clothes with Nelly's Laundry Soda it was a huge improvement over my regular detergent, but after I thoroughly cleaned the machine and removed all the old detergent residue it worked even better. I was surprised at how much it built up, I had to do 4 self-cleaning cycles before it stopped foaming!
