I am into woodworking and my granddaughter loves to make drips out of my little projects. I could make a set of blocks myself, but I thought: 1. make blocks, 2. sand blocks first, then sand with finer sandpaper if desired, 1. paint blocks with child safe paint, then 2. lightly sand, then 3. paint Apply a second coat of child-safe paint, then paint the blocks with a final coat of child-safe finish, and voila, they're ready for Christmas. They seem to be a lot easier to buy and seem to be of very high quality. Thank you for ever making this product.
