Review on Smartwool Larimer Crew Neptune 9 11 5 by Peter Green

First of all I love Smartwool socks due to years of hiking, backpacking, skiing and generally having cold feet due to hereditary circulatory problems. I have had several pairs for almost ten years now. You are quality. I am a woman with a foot size 10 wide, which corresponds exactly to a man's size 8.5. I ordered them on average and I am very happy with them. They are elastic and soft, thick enough but not suffocating. They can make good light to medium weight hiking socks. I ordered exactly these socks because I don't like the colors of the Smartwool women's socks. I like black and gray more than pastel pink or purple. The only odd thing is that they both came in different packaging (I ordered two pairs). I am attaching a photo to clarify. That surprises me. are they from a different line or batch but are the same in appearance and brand? Or are they different socks? I find that puzzling. Update: These are the exact same socks! I love her! They keep my toes warm. I wear them with boots and my fur slippers. Now that it's warmer I won't need them for a while. I'm sure I'll be happy to get back into them when they fall!
