Please Read - Lids are coming off

I bought all 12 sets. I have many cat eye pads as well as full color pads. I have to say I'm disappointed. On the first day over 24 caps fell off (one landed on my shirt and ruined it. I never work in good clothes so no big deal) and ended up back in my artbean box (small 5x8 box). They fold together and strangely hold together better than the lids. At first I thought it was okay but now I'm all 48 and hitting my box and bam. The lids fall off. This is equivalent to drying out the pads if I don't catch it. I have many different items in four full super jars and this is the first time. I was more disappointed with the way Ranger handled it. They want me to stick each lid on a piece of paper with a number written on it, take a picture of it, and email it to them. No reaction to what they were going to do afterwards. The support rep told me that "this is usually the case". It's funny because earlier he said it's a rare issue due to manufacturing and molding issues, but he's spoken to a lot of people who have become pros at reporting defective products - WOW. I was also told that I can buy covers. Unacceptable. I don't need to buy more products to use what I already bought. Then he suggested that I should buy rubber bands and it worked. I've never had to "help" my craft supplies to keep them closed. After checking this, I found that this is a common problem. For the price of their products I expect maximum service. I'll look elsewhere for the nasty ink in the future as Ranger has made it clear that they don't stand behind what they do. I'm wondering if Tim Holtz has a personal email address, his name appears here too.
