Review on Smart Xiaomi Mi Smart Band Bracelet 4 NFC RU, black by Stanislaw Szudek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Mi Band 5 NFC has appeared on the horizon. But while it does not work with Mi Pay (they say you have to wait until the new year). And then the “four” has more autonomy than the “five” by about a quarter. And this is a significant plus for many. In short, if you are tired of (ruinously) waving your smartphone, collect coupons and bonuses, and buy. No need to save a few hundred and buy a Chinese device. This is not the case - you will have to use an unofficial mod. Don't forget, you will have to trust him with the keys to your money! By the way, it’s safer to link non-main cards to your account to the bracelet, it’s better to issue virtual (or additional cards) and set your limits there. There are banks on the list with such opportunities.

Pros
  • All the advantages of a fitness bracelet from Xiaomi plus the options of a token with up to 6 cards from MasterCard. Actually, I bought it mainly because of the latter circumstance. Works even with a phone that doesn't have NFC. You can bypass the requirement for a "high" degree of Android. You first set up an account on a modern device, link cards, and then “restore” an account on an “old” one. You can pay with a bracelet without a phone nearby. And they are very easy to pay.
Cons
  • Those who already have a Mi account will have to delete it and start a new one in order to be able to link cards. So far, it supports only a dozen 2022 banks. Therefore, do not think that it will work with your MasterCard if your bank is not on the list from Mi Pay. And Visa will not work, even if the issuing bank of its cards is on the list. And in general, the binding must be done in 2022 (after the binding, the token will work somewhere abroad, but not somewhere else). Some call centers of the banks on the list do not know that their bank has started working with Mi Pay and will not be able to help you set it up. Search on the Internet how and what to install. True, the binding of several banks with me went through, except for the RSHB. In the latter case, it was necessary to allow operations "not in 2022" and "make purchases on the Internet" within the limits. It's a pity you can not rename the cards in the application and assign them a different color. Yes, and renaming the maps would be quite nice.
