Awesome MVC Framework - Build apps fast

I like that there is support for both MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite & PostgreSQL databases in one framework. There are some quirks to get used to but it's not too hard once you know what they are. It really helps if you have prior knowledge of OOP programming as well as being able to write your own custom code (which could be considered an asset or liability depending upon how much time you want to put into learning). If you're looking for something to quickly build out a web application with little effort then this is probably perfect for you. We chose CakePHP over other frameworks because we needed something more flexible than Laravel when building our project which was very specific at first. Very easy to integrate with MySQL, Easy to use for newbies. I can create my own modules using CakePHP's inbuilt functions. It also has an excellent debugging feature. The only problem is that it doesn't support SQL Server. If you are looking for an open source framework then this is what you want. We're integrating cakePHP with our existing website. So we can easily add new features to the existing website and also create new applications.
